Sure most did OK, but nothing compared to Playstation and 360 until the Wii.  How long can they ride the Mario and Zelda train?  Crazy to ask I guess, because they've done it for decades now.

That's too bad.  I love using my voice to control my Xbox.

Hey guys,
Lets discuss our favorite anime and what we've been watching lately.  I;ve been trying to get into Aijin on Netflix.  It's interesting, although I while the show looks good, I hate the choppy animation.  The story is interesting however.  Not sure if I want to stick with it.  I think I'm 6 episodes in.  I also watch Blame! which I though had terrific animation and was intriguing.  Anyone got any other recommendations?  I've never been a huge anime fan, but I do like a fair bit.

I find it funny that Joss Whedon now effectively is a big part of setting the narrative for both MArvel and now DC cinematic universes.

I vaguely remember the show Benson, but I know it was big hit in its day.  He was a good actor.  My biggest memory of him is in the Lion King as Rafiki, and a Jean Claude Van Damme movie where he played a prisoner when Van Damme was undercover.  I forgot the name of it, but its one of my fave Van Damme flicks.

Gaming Discussion / Mario 64 was still the greatest Mario game
« on: October 24, 2017, 07:46:07 PM »
I've never been a huge Mario fan, but I remember the first time I played Mario 64.  It was so revolutionary at the time.  It was the only reason I bought a N64.  Like most people then, I jumped full on to the Playstation train, and as much as I loved that platform then, Mario 64 dwarfed it almost by itself.  No Mario game has captured that magic for me again.  I hear that the new game will be amazing.  I do not own a Switch(yet) but if it is as good as they say, maybe I will take the plunge(plumber pun).  I didn't get a chance to play it at e3, but thankfully I have friends who are huge Mario fans, so I can check it out from them.  So, do you think the next Mario can really compare with Mario 64?
